Joleen Lunzer

Norm Stulz started his professional comedy life at Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle in Detroit back in 1981 and has gone on to become the industry's premier story teller. Truth is always funnier than fiction and no one can tell the truth more humorously than Norm Stulz, whether it is material about raising three children, or funny stories about his childhood sweetheart and now wife, Sharon Marie. Norm successfully divides his time between his family, comedy and the many charities which he supports. Norm takes the events of his life and transforms them into hilarious pieces which are timeless. It is these stories which make Norm's brand of humor so special. His style of storytelling is cut from the same comedy cloth of great talents like Bill Cosby, Dave Barry and Garrison Keillor. Norm's performances are sure to please audiences of all ages. Norm Stulz is truly today's...MASTER STORYTELLER.

midnight swinger

Call him cocky, call him confident, but never call him dull. The Midnight Swinger erupts onto the stage like the volcano in front of the Mirage Hotel in a fresh and original, over the top event that has been called "sharp-witted," "clever" and "classy."
Putting the show back in showman, The Midnight Swinger combines the style and cool of a 60's Las Vegas performer with the flash and excitement of a 21st century Super Bowl halftime extravaganza.
More than just a stand-up comedian, the Midnight Swinger is proud to be called a throwback entertainer. That's right, an entertainer! The Swinger believes in more than just standing behind the microphone and telling jokes, and doing more than just a simple "comedy show." The Midnight Swinger puts on a spectacle that leaves the audience LAUGHIN', SINGIN' and SWINGIN'.
The Swinger always wears the sharpest threads no matter where he is performing, and stylin' and profilin' with an oversized pompadour. The Swinger will be the first to tell you, "Damn, I Look Good," his battle cry before, during and after every show.
The never subtle or soft spoken Midnight Swinger heats up the room as he puts on a classic Las Vegas style show filled with great comedy, music, singing and dancing. And when the show is over you will walkout with a smile on your face yelling DAMN, I LOOK GOOD!

Joe Tanner

Dave Mordal is a comedian from Elk River, Minnesota. He was a contestant on the first and third seasons of NBC's Last Comic Standing. He was fourth eliminated in the first season after losing in a head-to-head competition to Dat Phan, the eventual winner of Last Comic Standing season 1. He was first runner-up in the third season. On the show he was known for his great friendship with Rich Vos, with whom he was seen taking baths and ironing. Also notable was the "infamous" rat hunt where Dave caught a rat. He also has made guest appearances on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and was in the 1999 movie Los Enchiladas as the bread delivery guy. His last name is pronounced like "more doll." Dave will host the new series "Wreckreation Nation" first airing in January 2009 on the Discovery Channel.

Dave’s aggravated and impetuous outlook on life has managed him two successful seasons on the Emmy Award winning series “Last Comic Standing” and has made him one of the most requested comedians today. This single father and Tonight Show regular is fearless in his approach and confident with his material keeping audiences begging for more.

As a writer, Paul Stoecklein has over two decades of experience—as a newspaper reporter, a columnist, a book editor, and an author. In 2002 he published Stand-Up Comedy Virgins, a book that provides aspiring stand-up comedians with an inside look at that profession. In 2009 Paul published You Had Me At Idiot: Volume 1 and You Had Me At Idiot: Volume 2—essays of stupidity and mediocrity, based on his blog of the same name.

As a comedian, Paul first hit the stage in 1998 and soon became a finalist and winner at a number of comedy competitions. He has performed in some of the world’s most famous comedy clubs (e.g., Funny Bone, Catch a Rising Star, the Comedy Store, the Improv); on cruise ships; at numerous corporate events (e.g., Ford and Cox Communications); for charity organizations; at colleges; and at fairs. In 2004, Paul was invited to perform an hour-long set on the second season of the television show Bananas. This series won a regional Emmy award and features comedians who perform clean material.

As an indentured servant, Paul married his lovely wife, Jodi, in 1991. Every day she forces Paul to eat healthy, organic oatmeal against his will. But he loves her madly anyway. When Paul is not writing or entertaining audiences, he can frequently be seen making multiple trips to Home Depot, where he keeps buying the wrong part for whatever he’s broken lately.

dwayne Gill

With Special Guest:
Chris May

Everyone has heard the old saying
“Good Cop, Bad Cop? Well meet Funny Cop, Dwayne Gill.

As a professional stand-up comedian known for his engaging personality and stage presence, he can be depended on to serve up laughter wherever he appears. And when it comes to protecting, it’s not your funny bone he’s worried about - it’s the citizens of Michigan, since he’s also a cop! Feeling his job requirements were a bit too serious for someone considered funny since birth; Dwayne found an outlet for his humor when he first stepped onto a comedy stage in 1993. To say he was well received would only serve to protect the audience from what really happened. They went crazy with laughter. After only two more performances, he joined the ranks of professional comedians with his first paid booking at Gadzooks Comedy Club. “Right then I knew comedy was what I was here on earth for,” he laughs. “And I’d much rather take laughter than a bullet any time.”

Dwayne’s topics range from current events, men and women relationships to the crazy situations he’s encountered as a police officer. His show has pleased comedy club audiences and corporate functions all over the country. He made his television debut on NBC’s syndicated talk show “Night Shift with Kevin Ferguson”, has appeared on Last Comic Standing, and a guest on the “Bob and Tom” nationally syndicated Radio/TV show.

He has shared the stage with well-known comedians like Louie Anderson, Rocky Laporte, Greg Giraldo, and Last Comic Standing’s John Heffron, Alonzo Bodden and Rich Vos. Dwayne Gill is one of the fastest rising comics on the national scene today.

Dwayne has appeared at Caroline’s Comedy Club in New York City, The Comedy Connection in Boston and The Comedy Castle in Detroit just to name a few. He is also a very popular corporate comic, whose clean show can be tailored to fit any event. So if you have never met a cop with a sense of humor, then it’s obvious you haven’t met Dwayne!

I live in Chicago, Illinois, a long way from where my life began in Montreal, Canada (that’s right, this biography is written in the 1st person and will continue to be so long asI’m the one writing them).
I was born to a German father and a French-Canadian mother. From my father I would hear such strict commands as, “Derick, failure is not an option!”
While from my mother,
“Derick, if at first you don’t succeed, don’t tell your father!”
At an early age I enjoyed making people laugh, particularly at school. By senior year I was a member of my high school drama club. However, a career in arts never seemed like a viable choice in Ignace, Ontario, the small mining town that I grew up in. And so I enrolled at McGill University’s Business program.
After graduating in 1997 I immediately began work at a lead consulting firm. However, I couldn’t have
been unhappier. This job made me sick, literally. By January 2000 I wasundergoing regular examination by doctors. There were no obvious causes though.
Finally, a nurse asked me the proverbial million dollar question,
“How are things at work?”
“Terrible,” I replied.
“Then may I suggest you make a change,”
she said quietly.
She then left the room.
I sat there alone with my thoughts.
I had an obvious choice – quit my job or die.
A day later I quit my job.
My illness disappeared immediately. Actually, if I remember correctly, my symptoms began to disappear as I was wrotemy letter of resignation. As I handed it to my boss he was curious to know
what I was going to do next.
“I’m going to be a stand-up comic,” I said. His look became distant. After several seconds he replied, “I used to play the saxophone…good luck!” Although I felt freer than ever, the transition to comedy was tough. I went from earning a salary to working for meals. My first “paying” gig at Angelo’s in Montreal paid a plate of spaghetti. The garlic bread was extra. Since then, it’s all been uphill,
but in a good way.
There have been many rewards. I have appeared in the international Just For Laughs festival three times. I was nominated for Best Newcomer in 2005 by the Canadian Comedy Awards.

That year I also taped my own
1 hour special for CTV’s Comedy Now which still airs regularly on the Comedy Network.

In 2006 a short film I wrote and starred in called “Slice of Life” about a passionate pizza delivery guy won the “Audience Choice Award” at the Eat My Shorts JFL festival.
And most recently I finished 1st runner up in the 33rd Annual San Francisco Comedy Competition.

But most importantly,I met my future wife, a native of Chicago, while performing at a comedy club in 2004. And that has been
my career’s biggest reward.

Follow your heart.

Cheers!
